Tiffany Baumann Nelson was elected to the Board in November 2022. She has a deeply ingrained work ethic and an incredible commitment to excellence, which she brings to every facet of her life, including her service to the community. With over 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Nelson has served in a variety of capacities, such as President, Founder, COO, and Executive Director. She currently leads her own nonprofit consulting firm, which supports our nation's veterans, breast cancer research, and various other ministries at the community, state, and national levels.

Nelson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Cleveland State University, as well as a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University. She is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Speaker, community health advocate, author, contributor, podcast host, international speaker, and recording artist.

Upon moving to Texas, Nelson served on the Board of The Brain Injury Association of Illinois, was a member of the Visiting Committee for the College of Performing Arts at Cleveland State University, as well as other extensive philanthropic work with organizations such as Big Brother Big Sister, Youth For Christ, the National Speakers’ Bureau for America’s Promise, and the Board of Directors at TOMAGWA Healthcare ministries.

Nelson has many hobbies, favoring music and theater. In addition to leading worship at churches, including her own, she has performed around the world and sung our National Anthem for the Houston Astros, the Houston Rockets, and many other professional teams and organizations.

Nelson and her husband, Jason, a pastor and former public-school educator, share six children, three of whom still attend Conroe ISD, where she has been a member of the PTO, Highlander Quarterback Club, The Rebounders Club, and The Highlander Volleyball Booster Club. Nelson is honored to be a part of this wonderful community.
